PRIDE IN OUR COMMUNITY

Boonton Township PBA Local #392 was previously part of the Boonton - Boonton Township PBA Local #212, our officers have decided to form their own PBA which will only be comprised of Boonton Township Police Officers.

The Boonton Township PBA is looking forward to serving the citizens of Boonton Township, the Police Officers of the Boonton Township Police Department and their families.

We are committed to our community and will continue to participate in township functions as well as continuing our annual fishing derby, which is held every May. Our web site is updated every month, so check back for updates and news.

Boonton Twp PBA Local 392 will be hosting our largest fundraiser yet in October of 2012.

The BTPBA Oktoberfest Duathalon

We are currently in the planning stages, however we are looking at a 2 mile run - 15 mile bike - 5k. We are currently in the process to have this become a sanctioned USTA Race.

This will be combined with an Oktoberfest at the RVA Fields. There will be awards and every athlete will get a free t-shirt, a beer and a brat.

If you just want to come for the Oktoberfest, feel free, The Oktoberfest will be open to everyone and we will be serving beer and brats, all day long, music, prises and fun for the family. We are planning this to be an epic event, so keep the date in mind.

A GROUP CLAIMING TO BE THE NEW JERSEY POLICE OFFICERS ASSOCIATION HAS BEEN SOLICITING FUNDS BY TELEPHONE IN BOONTON TOWNSHIP. WE HAVE RECEIVED COMPLAINTS FROM RESIDENTS AND HAVE INVESTIGATED THE COMPLAINTS. PLEASE DO NOT DONATE TO THEM, THEY DO NOT SUPPORT THE BOONTON TOWNSHIP PBA IN ANY WAY SHAPE OR FORM. WE WILL NEVER SOLICIT DONATIONS BY TELEPHONE, THIS PRACTICE IS STRICTLY PROHIBITED BY THE NEW JERSEY STATE PBA.

Our Support and Prayers go out to all of our troops serving this country and protecting our freedom.

THE 4TH ANNUAL TASTE IF ITALY FOOD & WINES TASTING IS HERE.

Our 4th Annual Taste of Italy Food and Wine Tasting will be held on Saturday March 24, 2012 at Il Michelangelos Ristorante in Boonton Twp, NJ from 12pm to 5pm. HELP SUPPORT TEAM BOONTON TOWNSHIP

TWO OF OUR MEMBERS ARE ONCE AGAIN RIDING IN THIS YEARS POLICE UNITY TOUR. THE UNITY TOUR IS A BIKE RIDE FROM NEW JERSEY TO THE NATIONAL POLICE MEMORIAL IN WASHINGTON D.C. THE RIDE IS TO RAISE AWARENESS AND HONOR THOSE OFFICERS WHO GAVE THEIR LIVES SERVING THEIR COMMUNITIES. EACH MEMBER MUST RAISE $1,750.00 IN ORDER TO RIDE.
